1. Scope and operator

EXEPERT AI is an independent software and AI research brand operated by Akmal Alif. Akmal Alif is the data controller for the EXEPERT website and EXEPERT AI Lab. This policy covers the public website at www.exepert.com and the web app at app.exepert.com.

2. Information processed

• Account information: email address and authentication metadata when you use email and password sign-in.
• Guest-session information: an anonymous account identifier may be created when a guest uses features that require a session.
• AI requests: prompts, selected models, responses, and operational metadata needed to route and return a request.
• Browser information: preferences and some workspace state may be stored locally in your browser.
• Technical information: hosting and backend services may process IP address, browser, device, request, error, and security-log data.
• Contact information: information you choose to send when contacting us.

3. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide the requested product features, route AI requests, maintain reliability and security, investigate errors, and respond to enquiries.

4. Service providers and AI processing

EXEPERT uses Vercel for web hosting and Supabase for authentication and backend services. Chat requests are sent from the EXEPERT backend through 9Router to the model provider selected for the request. These services process information only as needed to provide their part of the product and under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

Do not submit secrets, highly sensitive personal information, or material you are not authorised to share with an AI provider.

5. Storage and retention

Some preferences and workspace state remain in the current browser. Account and service records may be retained for as long as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and meet legal obligations. Retention by an AI model provider may differ by provider and request. Anonymous browser sessions cannot be moved to another hostname and may not be recoverable after local session data is lost.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should choose carefully what they submit.

7. Your choices and requests

You can clear locally stored information through your browser, sign out of an account, or contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you. Whether a request can be fulfilled depends on applicable law and whether the information can be identified.

8. Children

EXEPERT AI Lab is not directed to children under 18. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the product or its providers change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
